Leesburg 4th of July Parade

OCDCC is now registered for the Leesburg 4th of July parade. As in recent years, they are limited decorated vehicles to 10 vehicles per group. Our registration will cut off at 10. However, All Stitt has registered for his group Vets with Vettes for 10 more, and Northern Virginia Corvette Club is also registering for the parade, so we'll be able to have a total of 30 Corvettes in the parade. So if you're also a member of NVCC you might want to check there. Karen Shoemaker sent an email to all NVCC members about this. If you miss out on the ODCC and NVCC signups send an email to Al at amsprtcar@comcast.net.
Registration is now open, first come first served.
To be as fair as possible, registration will be on a first come first registered basis. Once we have 10 Corvettes registered, we will create a waiting list to fill any ODCC or Vets with Vettes cancellations. Members on the waiting list will be contacted as soon as we are aware of a vacancy. To register use the "Register Now" button on the top right of this page. Only one registration per Corvette is required.
Our ODCC rally point for this event is the Frances Hazel Reid Elementary parking lot in Leesburg at 8:15 AM, with a prompt departure and cruise to Ida Lee Park at 8:30 AM to stage for the parade and decorate our Corvettes.
The parade start time is 10 AM sharp.
Keeping with club tradition, we will proceed to Monk's Barbecue for lunch after the parade. Club members who were not able to register for the parade are invited to join us in the Catoctin Elementary School parking lot at 11:00AM for the cruise to Monk's.

These activities will get us banned from the parade in future years.
