"Trunk or Treat" at Guilford Elementary in Sterling - October 30th
About this event
ODCC has been invited to again support Guilford Elementary School's Halloween festivities by participating in their Classic / Fancy car show. There will be dedicated parking for up to 10 Corvettes. This should be a lot of fun for all. We had 6 cars show up last year, and everyone had a great time. We gave out candy to the children, and talked cars with the older kids and parents. Everyone liked the Corvettes, and we all had fun seeing the kids in their costumes.
We will meet in the Harbor Freight parking lot in Sterling at 4:00 pm, then leave promptly at 4:15 for the short drive to Guildford Elementary. This should be a lot of fun for everyone. The club will supply ODCC Corvette Trading Cards to hand out to the kiddies, and we ask you to bring some candy to distribute. Decorating your car is optional as is wearing a costume! NOTE: We're limited to 10 cars, so please register ONCE PER CAR, not per person, so we can keep track.
After the Trunk or Treat is over, anyone interested can head over to J&J Pizza in Sterling for a group dinner. Get pies, slices, wings, whatever pleases you. We went there last year and the pizza was excellent. They also have a full bar! Please answer the dinner question during event registration.
