NVCC invites all members of ODCC to join them on their rescheduled 2nd Annual Classics Cruise. Early October should be a great time to take our C1 – C4 classic Corvettes out for an easy drive on local and country roads and then enjoy lunch at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse (which is not affiliated at all with BJ’s Warehouse). Located in Gateway Center in Gainesville, this will be an easy cruise of about 25 miles each way and taking a little under an hour.
While offered for owners of classics who don’t want to “push” their babies, all Corvette owners, regardless of generation, are welcome to join in . The lunch venue offers a wide range of moderately priced good foods including burgers, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, salads, and more (https://www.bjsrestaurants.com/). They also offer a wide range of locally brewed beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages.
Our route will take us from our meeting point at Wegman’s Westfields out Braddock Rd., to Bull Run Post Office Rd., then to Rt. 29, Sudley Rd. and Catharpin Rd., and ending at Gateway Center off of Linton Hall Rd. in Gainesville. Most of the trip is on either local roads or 2-lane country roads with moderate speed limits.
After the cruise and lunch, we can cruise home as a group or go our separate ways.

Meeting Place: Wegmans/Westfields (14361 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly). Park in rear of building along the curb – easy in/out. Meet outside. Coffee, soft drinks, snacks and restrooms are available inside.
Meeting Time: 10:00; Driver’s Briefing: 10:15; Departure: 10:30. Bring walkie-talkies if you have them. We will be using channel 4.
